Pair your love of gaming with business and industry knowledge you can use to enter a fast-growing and exciting career field.
Now is an ideal time to pursue a career in the booming Esports and video game industry, projected to exceed $665 billion by 2030. With 3.09 billion gamers globally, the demand for skilled employees is growing.
These are versatile jobs. Our program, developed with Unity Technologies and the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) equips you with the tech, business, and gaming knowledge employers seek. Adding to all of that, EC has a strong Esports athletic program with a state-of-the-art gaming lounge, where you can get practical, first-hand experiences.
Our Esports and Gaming Administration program is offered in a hybrid format through our partnership with Rize Education. Through this consortium of 100+ private colleges, you’ll take a select number of courses online with peers from across the country taught by world-leading experts in this high-demand field. This innovative model gives you access to a global, industry-driven curriculum with the small campus experience you want.
This program will teach you about how games are made, how to manage Esports teams, and how to plan the end-to-end of Esports events from logistics to marketing. You’ll learn through projects developed with companies like Capcom and Riot as you explore the history of games, how to develop plots, and how to create graphics. You’ll also have projects that let you design a virtual intercollegiate sports competition.
As a Business Administration concentration, you'll gain a strong foundation in business skills. Or, pair this program with other, broader courses of study such as Media Studies, Communications, and Design, Art, or Psychology. And the fast growth and wide breadth of the gaming industry means you’ll be able to find a variety of roles available to you nearly everywhere.
