The Master of Science in Education: Adolescence Education 7-12 offers teacher certification in just one year.
The program has been designed for individuals who already hold a Bachelor's degree in one of the following majors: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Mathematics, English, Social Studies/History or related field. Coursework is 100% online and students complete in-person field-based experiences in their local area.
Successful completion of a baccalaureate degree in a content area such as Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Mathematics, English, Social Studies/History or related field.
Official transcripts of all prior college coursework (3.00/4.00).
State law requires EC to collect immunization records from students taking six or more credit hours in any term.
If you wish to complete the MSED Adolescence Education 7-12 program on a different progression cycle (e.g., two years, one course per term, or some other sequence) you will need to work with the Director of Graduate Studies to develop an individualized plan that meets your specific needs and circumstances.
